To help their community, the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South spearheaded an INC Giving activity by conducting a blood donation drive at the house of worship compound of the Local Congregation of Rome on March 23, 2025.

District Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers organized the event in collaboration with the Associazione Donatori di Sangue Lazio (Blood Donors Association of Lazio).

Volunteer donors first filled out health screening forms, then underwent interview with medical staff, and had their blood pressure and glucose level checked to know if they qualify to donate blood.

“I’m very happy with the results we’ve achieved,” expressed Livia Pacione, a volunteer from the collaborated association.

“Many youth members along with their parents participated,” observed CMDPS officer Ester Ruan of Rome Congregation. “They were happy knowing this kind gesture can save others who are in need, and has health benefits for them as well,” she added. — With reports from Nicole Constantino of INC News Section
