“The activity today gave us the opportunity to meet and socialize with fellow youth in our district, further enhancing the love of brotherhood,” said James Santos, KADIWA president of the Local Congregation of San Pablo. He was referring to the KADIWA Formal in Bay Area California District that was held on November 10, 2024.

The said event was organized by the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers and was held at the Farallon Room at Skyline College in San Bruno, California.

The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Brother Michael Guerrero, the district Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) adviser. It was followed by the opening remarks by James Santos. After the opening remarks, the brethren explored the various booths and activities prepared by the CFO officers, including Telegram Booth, wherein the youth could dedicate written messages to fellow brethren, and booth for Bracelet Making.

As the activity progressed, random prizes were handed out to the attendees. Later on, Reece Espera and Atlanta Velgado, both from the Local Congregation of Daly City, were recognized as the best-dressed attendees. The attendees also had dinner. The event concluded with the closing prayer led by Brother Reuel Del Rosario, the assistant district supervising minister.

Shawna Domingo, the district KADIWA president, said, “I thank our Lord God for the event’s success. Were it not for His help, this event would not have been possible.”

JB Camposagrado, district KADIWA vice president, enthused, “I’m very happy for the outcome of the event. All our efforts paid off, having truly helped us build a stronger connection with fellow youth.” — With reports from Sophia Trigonis
