Working as one, choir members in the Ecclesiastical District of Los Angeles County spearheaded an evangelical mission held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Los Angeles on March 9, 2025.

District supervising minister Brother Artemio Pilon Jr. led the propagational event. He taught using the Bible God’s desire that all people be saved. Such noble aim, according to the lecture, can only be obtained through their membership in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) and remaining therein active in the faith until the end.

For assistant district choir director Lucky Driza, although her duty is to lead in singing hymns of praise during worship services, helping in the Church’s work of propagating the true faith is “very important, especially because we know the biblical truth which our loved ones don’t know yet. We have to make them know that by sharing the true faith so that, hopefully, they can also be with us in serving God.”

“I can tell that everyone is passionate and their heart is in the preaching and its message. Also, the choir beautifully sang all the songs and the hymns which was very inspiring,” guest Jessica Waldman observed. “I learned that the teachings in the Bible must be conveyed correctly so we can know how to properly worship God,” she added.

Right after the event, many guests expressed that they will continue listening to the biblical teachings that the Church Of Christ upholds. They even enlisted themselves as Bible students. — With reports from Eva Basallaje and Andrew Macadangdang of INC News Section
