The Ecclesiastical District of Lanao, in the Philippines, hosted simultaneous special gatherings for finance officers at the houses of worship of Abaga and Iligan City Local Congregations on July 7, 2024.

Brother Lloyd Fadillan, district auditor, and Brother Robert Tamayo, district treasurer, led the holy gatherings, respectively. A total of 82 new officers were sworn into office by Brother Junel Patiu, district assistant auditor, and Brother Arman Inia, district assistant treasurer, respectively.

During the study of God’s words, the ministers encouraged the Church officers to remain faithfully upholding their duties, being ever dedicated to it to continue pleasing God, in order for them to receive His blessings not only in this life but also in the life to come.

“I thank God for entrusting me this duty,” said Neljun Langga, who was among the newly sworn officers in the Local Congregation of Butadon. “As a Church officer, I will allot much time and resources if need be to carry out my duty, all for the glory of God.”

“I am grateful to our Lord God for allowing me to continue fulfilling this duty. I will remain united with the Church Administration in all of the Church’s endeavors,” said Winnie Lim, finance officer in the Local Congregation of Sapad. “I will wholeheartedly fulfill it until I breathe my last.” — With reports from Ronniel Mendoza
