The intensified propagational efforts of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical Districts of Central Europe and Micronesia have resulted to more people being baptized. These districts held baptisms on June 22 and 24, 2024, respectively.

Brother Joven Sepillo Jr., supervising minister of Micronesia District, and Brother Julius Malabanan, assistant district supervising minister, administered the baptisms that were held at the houses of worship of Guam and Saipan, CNMI Congregations, respectively. Meanwhile, Brother Joel Catalan, supervising minister of Central Europe District, led the baptismal gathering at the house of worship of Frankfurt, Germany Congregation.

During the study of God’s words, the ministers emphasized to the prospective members of the Church the significance of receiving true baptism for salvation on Judgment Day. They encouraged those to be baptized to steadfastly hold on to their membership and pledge to God that they will remain dedicated to obeying all of His commandments.

“I thank God”

Renni Mei Matnag Choway, a newly baptized from Koblerville, MP Congregation, enthused, “I thank God for calling me in the Church. I now have the hope of receiving salvation come Judgment Day.”

“My journey to joining the Church was wrought with challenges, numerous hardships. But I sought God’s help through personal prayers. With His guidance, I’ve reached my baptism today,” said Mario Mecklenburg of the Bremen, Germany Group Worship Service (GWS).

“The teachings upheld by the Church, the sense of brotherhood, and the peace I experience during worship services inspire me to continue joining the Church,” expressed Udo Da Silva Barido, also a newly baptized member, from the Dortmund, Germany Congregation.

“I’m grateful to God for reaching my baptism today. I promise to dedicate myself to obeying all His commands so that I may remain steadfast in my faith and receive blessings from our Lord God,” stated Kent Baya Sotto from the Local Congregation of Guam.

 Efforts bear fruit

“Today’s baptism is a testament of God’s blessings upon our district. We witness the joy of our brethren, having seen that their propagational efforts have borne fruit,” said Brother Catalan. “We pledge our unity with the Church Administration in all the activities they launch, especially in the work of propagation of God’s words,” he added.

“Through God’s love, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) membership within our district continues to grow. We hope that more of our fellowmen here will embrace the truth for their salvation,” said Brother Sepillo. — With reports from Michael De Jesus and Frances Manalili of INC News Section
