The Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac, in the Philippines, held a baptism on June 22, 2024. Held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Aguso, the holy occasion yielded 108 new members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

The baptism was officiated by Brother Bhel John Ubaldo, district supervising minister. Prior to their immersion in water, Brother Ubaldo instilled to the would-be members in his Bible-based homily the important blessings brought about by receiving baptism inside the true Church. Afterwards, the candidates for baptism each took oath of membership. The baptism proper followed.

Among the newly baptized brethren was John Denver Meimban from the Local Congregation of San Pablo. “Despite the setbacks and difficult challenges that I experienced, I am glad that I’ve reached this important event in my life, to be a member of the Church Of Christ,” he said.

Also in attendance during the occasion were the brethren instrumental in the conversion of those baptized. Having seen his efforts not put in vain, Frienz Lancelot Peridas, a KADIWA member also from the said congregation, shared, “I am even more motivated to invite people to join the Church Of Christ to have them receive salvation as well.”

“This has been another manifestation of God’s grace to the Church members here in Tarlac City, Tarlac. Through ups and downs, they never cease to share the faith,” said Brother Jhon Alvin Capulong, ministerial student assigned at the Local Congregation of Sapang Tagalog. “Praises be to the Lord God Who allows more people to be added among those who will be saved on Judgment Day.” — With reports from Princess Mykoh Takada of INC News section
