More people received baptism in the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga West, Philippines. The sacred occasion was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Remedios-Lubao on June 22, 2024.

Brother Troy Gatchalian, assistant district supervising minister, officiated the baptismal gathering. The candidates for baptism listened first to a biblical lesson about the importance of always attending the worship services and following all the other commandments of God being taught during such occasions.

“Baptism in the true Church is significant for the forgiveness of sin in order for people to be able to conduct acceptable service to our Lord God and, most of all, for them to receive the privilege and sure hope of attaining salvation come Judgment Day,” Brother Gatchalian explained.

After the biblical preaching, the baptismal candidates took their oath of membership before being baptized.

“I’m elated for receiving baptism through God’s mercy,” Romeo Labto of the Local Congregation of San Nicolas-F Blanca expressed. “I will invite my loved ones to listen to God’s teachings upheld in the Church Of Christ. It is my fervent hope that they will also become members of the true Church, like me.”

Marian Sabino, also a newly-baptized member from the San Nicolas Congregation, with the blessing she received promised: “I will continue serving the Lord God, and the Lord Jesus Christ with all my life and strength.” — With reports from Neil Isaac Layug of INC News Section
