To hone their photography and videography skills, multimedia officers of the Ecclesiastical District of Bay Area California attended a seminar that was held at the function hall of the Local Congregation of Hayward on February 9, 2025.
Concord Congregation head secretary Jeddah Lyn Diaz, who is also a professional photographer and video editor, served as the resource speaker. She discussed best practices in photography and videography. The activity was made interactive as the attendees were asked to use their personal mobile devices in taking videos that the resource speaker then edited, with the attendees looking on.
“Honing one’s photography or videography skills doesn’t require fancy gears or expensive equipment but willingness to learn,” said multimedia officer Irish Radam of Hayward Congregation, adding that “the seminar was not only beginner friendly but a reminder for those in this field and those aspiring to take this path.” On her part, she “will strive to keep up to date the technical skills that can be used in the performance of my duty.”
“Seminars such as this help us improve in our duty of capturing different moments in Church activities,” said multimedia director Sophia Trigonis of Burlingame Congregation. “I will remain fulfilling my duties in the multimedia so that more people will see the works of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) and learn to obey our Almighty God.”
Aside from “enriching the skills and knowledge of photo and video enthusiasts and those interested to be in this field, this seminar has also fostered brotherhood among them,” attested district multimedia adviser Brother Jonathan Ibarra.
