“I’m overjoyed that the Lord God has granted us a new and magnificent house of worship,” said Emmanuel Nabua, deacon. “He heard our prayers. He has truly never forsaken our local congregation. We will all the more be active and inspired as we fulfill our divine duties in the Church.”

Located at Barangay Naguiringan, San Juan, La Union, Philippines, the newly-built house of worship of the Naguiringan Congregation, La Union District was dedicated to the Lord God in a worship service on July 26, 2024, a day before the 110th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). Brother Jessy Capuno, the district supervising minister, officiated at the said gathering.

“This is a manifestation of the victories that the Almighty Father promised to the Church Of Christ. It is so timely, as we are celebrating the 110th anniversary of the Church. This house of worship will be a haven for the brethren as they worship God and for them to pray for His help and rescuing,” he said in an interview.

The house of worship, which can accommodate up to 150 worshipers, comes equipped with Johannus organ and an up-to-date audio-video set-up suitable for livestreaming.

“The Lord God is so good to us. In this place, we find peace as we serve Him, said Eufemia Crudo, a choir member. On behalf of fellow brethren, she added, “We promise to take care of this holy place. We will always show gratitude to our God by being obedient to Him, most especially in worshiping Him.” — With assistance from Jose Alfred Santos
