Through God’s help, the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe was able to establish the Wejherowo, Poland Group Worship Service (GWS), the inaugural worship service of which was held at Scandic Hotel in Gdansk, Poland on February 2, 2025.

District supervising minister Brother Vizar Balcita led the sacred occasion. “Witnessing the phenomenal growth of the Church Of Christ throughout the world, even here in the District of Northern Europe, we firmly believe that this is a fulfillment of God’s blessings to the entire Church,” he said.

Prior to the GWS’s establishment, “brethren would need to travel about four to five hours to the place of worship in Łódź. They would have to face also the weather [during] the cold season or when there’d be storms,” shared Brother Rexmith Chris Catalasan, resident minister. Now having been blessed to be organized as a GWS, the brethren “are even more able to attend the worship service and dedicate themselves in serving the Almighty God,” he added.

“We’re joyful because our devotional prayers to have a GWS here in Wejherowo have been answered,” expressed GWS overseer Marlon Cayabyab. “We thank our Lord God and the Church Administration because we now have a place of worship here.”

Congregation Light of Salvation secretary Jayzelyn Tamson enthused that “this special event has truly inspired and motivated me both personally and spiritually. I’m reminded of the strength and resilience that faith provides, especially in these challenging times. It has inspired me to all the more uphold a holy and righteous way of life, especially as an officer in the Church Of Christ.”

Succeeding worship services in the GWS will be held at Leśna 2B, Kartoszyno Puck, Gdansk, Poland. — With reports from Anna Dulin of INC News Section
