The 387-seater house of worship of the Local Congregation of Pasong Langka, in the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite South was dedicated to God through a special worship service that was held on December 6, 2024.
The newly built house of worship is located at 7219-P Tagaytay, Sta. Rosa Road, Area 5, Brgy. Pasong Langka, Silang, Cavite, Philippines. It comes equipped with modern implements, including a state-of-the-art sound system, a LED wall, CCTV system, and a Johannus organ. A parsonage and office spaces have also been constructed.
Brother Gerry Purificacion officiated at the holy occasion. He emphasized in his biblical preaching the profound significance of the house of worship in the lives of the brethren. It deserves utmost respect because it is where God’s true servants gather to praise and worship God, offer their prayers to Him, and experience His abiding presence.
“I thank the Lord God for answering our devotional prayers. The membership of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in our congregation is growing, thus the need for a bigger house of worship,” shared Lope Lepardo, head deacon. “By God’s grace and mercy, we now have a new and modern house of worship where we can offer praises to God in a more suitable and improved place.”
With this recent development, “my heart is overflowing with joy,” enthused Eleonor Pambid, choir leader. “I promise to remain faithful in fulfilling my duties and serving God to the very end,” she added.
Brother Rommel Delos Reyes, the current resident minister of the Pasong Langka Congregation, expressed in an interview, “I thank God and the Church Administration for blessing us with a magnificent house of worship. I vow to commit myself to fulfilling my duty of guiding the brethren toward salvation.” —With reports from Erman Robles
