“We will cherish this house of worship, and will be even more zealous in all of the Church’s activities,” said Felipe Bulotano, head deacon, on behalf of the Local Congregation of Marcella.

The said local congregation has been blessed with a newly-built house of worship, which was dedicated to the Lord God through a worship service on November 29, 2024. Brethren from nearby congregations were also in attendance.

Brother Nepthalie Panes, supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Masbate, officiated the holy occasion.

“We give our heartfelt thanks to our Almighty God and to our beloved Executive Minister Brother Eduardo Manalo because, despite the severe trials and the widespread hardships in the world, he approved that a beautiful and modern house of worship be built in this place,” Brother Panes said. “Here, brethren will continue to conduct prayers and worship to our Lord God, allowing us to continually bring honor to Him.”

The 120-seater house of worship is situated in Sitio Minuswang, Barangay Marcella, Uson, Masbate, Philippines. Built with the new edifice were a separate room for the technical support for videostreaming, offices for various departments, and a parsonage. It was also equipped with videoconferencing system and state-of-the-art sound system.

“Our Lord God has heard our prayers and granted us a new house of worship,” Brother Renlo Saldaña, resident minister, remarked. “This new structure not only stands as the most beautiful in the area but also enhances the beauty of this place, proclaiming the glory of our Father.”

While the new house of worship was being built, members of the said congregation held their worship services at a temporary place of worship in a rented lot near the construction area. — With reports from Raenier Moral
