The newly built 930-seater house of worship for the Local Congregation of Carreon Village, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City, in the Philippines, was dedicated to God during a special worship service that was officiated by Brother Arnel A. Tumanan on December 13, 2024.

The new edifice replaces the former place of worship of the local congregation which could no longer accommodate the growing number of Church Of Christ members in the area. It is located at P. Dela Cruz St., San Bartolome, Novaliches. It has been equipped with modern amenities, including LED TVs, LED wall, a CCTV camera system, a Johannus organ, a generator set, as well as a parsonage and office spaces.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Tumanan highlighted the blessings that God has continually bestowed upon the Church, including the newly built house of worship for the said congregation. He urged the congregants to continue living in a way that pleases God, such as showing love and care for the house of worship, being the sacred place where they feel His abiding presence, especially during worship services.

“I deeply thank our Lord God for this great blessing He has bestowed upon our congregation. This house of worship is what the brethren in our congregation have longed and prayed to God for. Because of His mercy, we can now continue worshiping Him in a more suitable place,” said Jerry Garcia, the head deacon.

“From the bottom of my heart, I thank God for His continued guidance to the Church Administration in constructing beautiful houses of worship to give greater glory to Him. By God’s grace, our congregation has been blessed with this majestic house of worship, just weeks before our year-end thanksgiving. Therefore, we have even more reason to thank our Lord God,” said Carlo Dela Cruz, a choir leader.

“We promise to take good care of this house of worship and continue holding services to God in this sacred place that bring glory and honor to His name,” said Brother Arnold Rosario, resident minister, on behalf of the congregation. — With reports from Elizer Felix Hebrew
