Additional officers of local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Greater Toronto, Canada took their oath of duty during two special gatherings of Church officers, which were both held on June 30, 2024.

Brother Raul Adalla, district supervising minister, officiated at the gathering held in the Local Congregation of Toronto’s house of worship while Brother Isidro Diña, assistant district supervising minister, in the Midtown Toronto Congregation.

Both ministers delivered an uplifting sermon highlighting the noble duties and responsibilities of an officer in the Church and blessings that God promised to those who diligently fulfill them out of love and concern for the brethren under their care.

“Taking this duty is a blessing and a fulfillment of my aspiration because I’m a choir member from my CWS days until now,” said Cherly Oria, newly sworn choir leader of the Local Congregation of Richmond Hill. “I always draw my strength every time I perform my duty inside the Church, using my voice to glorify our Lord God, and now that I will lead the congregation’s choir, I vow to prioritize performing my duty as a leader,” she added. — With reports from Danfel Serreno of INC News Section
