Choir members in New Zealand South Ecclesiastical District were once again edified in the faith after attending simultaneous special gatherings held on March 2, 2025. Choir members gathered at their respective congregations’ houses of worship.

District supervising minister Brother Uziel Bongares officiated at the host site, Christchurch Congregation’s house of worship. His preaching was beamed live to other congregations in the district. Citing biblical verses, he reminded the choir members on the importance of the duty they perform especially during worship services. He exhorted the attendees to never cease in dedicating their voices in uplifting and inspiring worshipers, and all the more honoring the Almighty Father despite their troubles and worries in life.

“As a student, after a long day of school, I am physically tired but I do not neglect my duty and I still attend our choir practice,” shared Helena Loren Ilan, choir member from Halswell Congregation. “We know that these sacrifices that we make will not be in vain because our Lord God is pleased with us and we will receive His blessings.”

Ktichie Avrillen Adoyo, choir member from Dunedin Congregation said, “All of the things that I have been through and what I possess now are the fruits of God’s grace and mercy on me.”

“It is great when there are gatherings like this, so that the brethren will be able to meet one another and share memories with each other that will also help in strengthening [their] faith,” expressed Brother Bongares. — With reports from Jessica Marabot of INC News Section
