On July 7, 2024, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe attended a special gathering to commemorate its fifth anniversary. An oath-taking of new officers was also held during the said occasion.
Held at a multi-purpose venue in Asker, Norway, the occasion was officiated by Brother Vizar Balcita, the district supervising minister. It was attended by brethren from various countries, majority of whom were from the Scandinavian region of the district.
Brother Balcita taught from the Bible that true Christians ought to stay focused in fulfilling their God-given duties. Amid temptation, chaos, and calamities around them, they must remain active members of the Church.
“As the Church Of Christ reaches her 110th anniversary, we also have reached a milestone in our district. We’ve seen God’s promises being fulfilled in our midst,” said Brother Balcita. “We look forward for more victories of the Church. We will soldier on amidst all tests of faith, always trusting God to help us as He has done for the first five years of our district.” Northern Europe District was established in June of 2019.
“To be part of the Church’s victories here is a dream come true for me,” said Danilo Ramirez, a pioneering member of the Church and a deacon of the Local Congregation of Oslo, Norway, “When our local congregation began, the numbers were few in number. But, we prayed earnestly to God for His help. He never failed us. We’re ever active in all of the Church’s works.” — With reports from Anna Dulin of INC News Section
