BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan — Hundreds of Pangasinenses, along with foreign nationals currently residing in the province, gathered at the Bayambang Event Center to participate in a blood donation drive on March 22, 2025, uniting to make a meaningful impact on their community. The event successfully addressed the critical need for blood in local hospitals and highlighted the collective spirit of generosity and compassion that transcends cultural boundaries.

Organized by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) and in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross (Pangasinan Chapter), the initiative saw an impressive turnout, with the majority of donors being INC members. The participants came from the municipalities of Bautista, Basista, Bayambang, Malasiqui, Mangatarem, Sta. Barbara, Urbiztondo, and San Carlos City to donate blood, according to Brother Helbert Ragasa, an INC minister who was part of the event. “This remarkable turnout is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the INC in helping those in need.”

Many of the volunteers shared their willingness to contribute to a life-saving cause reflecting the INC’s strong sense of community and service. One of the donors, Jen Dapano Jr., who was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, has previously participated in several INC blood donation drives in the U.S., including Jacksonville, Seattle, and New York. “The INC blood donation drive is not just a local event; it is a global initiative. I’ve seen firsthand how INC members across the world come together to support life-saving causes,” he shared.

“It is clear to us, as members of the INC, that what we do is a fulfillment of God’s command to help those in need,” explained Brother Joseph Amarille, the INC District Supervising Minister in San Carlos City, Pangasinan. “This blood donation drive is just one way we can serve our community and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.”

The success of the event underscores the dedication of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) to serve not only its local communities but also to create a global impact through acts of kindness and charity.
