“We made sure that this event would really promote the love of the brotherhood. We thank the Lord God for giving fruition to our activity,” said Lemuel Pamiloza, KADIWA member from Gold Coast Congregation, Queensland, Australia Ecclesiastical District, when asked about the objective of the KADIWA Meet and Greet that the district held on October 13, 2024.

KADIWA members from the various parts of the district met at the activity hall of the William Duncan State School in Highland Park, Queensland. Brother Orlando Macayan, district supervising minister, was present to supervise the event.

Thanking the Church Administration for the activity, Brother Macayan expressed: “The youth in our district felt how the leadership in the Church cares for their spiritual well-being. This activity gave them chance to bond especially with the brethren they seldom see due to vast distances of their congregations.”

Attendees took part in interactive and team building activities and, later on, to a sumptuous supper.

“We had a blast. I made new connections with the brethren from other parts of the district which are miles apart. Such made us more united as Christian youth in the Church,” said Martin Lin from Brisbane Congregation.

This event was in consonance with the celebration of the 51st anniversary of the KADIWA and Binhi organizations in the Church Of Christ. — With assistance from Recil Marie Montejo
