The Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City hosted an INC Unity Games for members of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD). The activity was held at the covered court of Sunnyside Heights Subdivision in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City on June 22, 2024.

Players participated in various sports including basketball, volleyball, badminton, and dodgeball, and in board games such as chess, dama (checkers) and Game of the Generals. At the end of the activities, awards were given to the participants.

Catherine Joy Patriarca, Light of Salvation secretary in the Local Congregation of Projects 2 & 3, expressed through Sign Language that she “enjoyed taking part in this activity” and is “looking forward to similar activities prepared by the Church Administration for the differently-abled members of the Church.”

“This activity not only aims to showcase the skills of our differently abled brethren in various sports, but more importantly, to strengthen the love of brotherhood, and through this, they continue to bring glory to God,” stated Brother Jay-R Barcebal, district CSD adviser. — With reports from Hiera Mangubat
