“The new house of worship for our local congregation is a manifestation of God’s blessings to us,” said Brother Randy Namoc, resident ministerial worker of the Magsaysay Congregation, in the Philippines.

After the months-long renovation, the 110-seater house of worship, situated along Lake Mainit Circumferential Rd., Barangay Magsaysay, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte, was rededicated to God through a special worship service held on July 12, 2024.

The house of worship is now equipped with state-of-the-art amenities including sound system, LED TV videoconferencing system, CCTV camera system, and a Johannus organ. Additionally, a pastoral house and office spaces have been constructed within the chapel compound.

Brother Ruel Zapata, the district supervising minister, led the worship service. He admonished the brethren to show utmost respect befitting the house of worship, emphasizing that it is where God’s glory dwells, and where He all the more answers the prayers of His true servants. With their house of worship refurbished, the brethren were reminded to be thankful to God and to take care of it.

Carlito Borja Jr., a head deacon, enthused, “I express my heartfelt gratitude to God for granting us a beautiful house of worship. We conducted devotional prayers for it, which He now finally answered.”

“The construction of our new house of worship has truly inspired me to continue fulfilling my duties wholeheartedly. These improvements in our house of worship also motivates us to continue sharing our faith with others,” Borja added. — With reports from Joshua Lariba
