Members of the Local Congregation of San Antonio in the Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga Sibugay rejoiced over their new house of worship, which was dedicated to the Lord God on June 28, 2024.

“The Church Administration approved the construction of a larger house of worship for our congregation to accommodate the growing number of brethren here,” said Rexeso Jalapadan, head deacon.

Brother Eraño Fabella, district supervising minister, officiated at the worship service for the chapel’s dedication to God wherein he emphasized about the biblical teaching on the importance of building houses of worship, and the significance of such edifice in the lives of God’s chosen ones.

The 250-seater house of worship is situated in the village of its namesake in the town of Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines. It stands across the piece of land where the former house of worship stood.

The new house of worship was fitted with state-of-the-art audio and video equipment which include a CCTV camera system, digital sound system, smart TVs for videoconferencing, and a Johannus organ. Office spaces for different departments in the congregation as well as solar perimeter lights were added in the house of worship compound.

“I will do my part to show my love and care for this house of worship because this is where we conduct our worship services to the Lord God,” Clifferd Calibo, choir member, said.

Brother Mark Venida, resident ministerial worker, shared, “Our hearts are overflowing with joy as we thank our Lord God for His guidance through the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, we are blessed with a modern and beautiful house of worship.” On behalf of the Church officers and brethren in the congregation, he added, “We promise to all the more dedicate ourselves in performing our duties to God.” — With reports from Joen Lacson of INC News Section
