Members and officers of the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) from the Ecclesiastical Districts of Cavite South and Cavite attended an enhancement seminar on September 7, 2024, at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Noveleta, Cavite.

The highlight of the said event was the biblical lecture delivered by Brother Gerry Purificacion, minister of the gospel sent by the Church Administration. He was accompanied by Brother Rohan Manalo, minister assigned to oversee the Church’s Sound Reinforcement Group (SRG).

Brother Purificacion emphasized from the Bible how Church officers can continue to please the Lord God. He pointed out that they should be active in not only their Church duties, but also all the works of the Church.

“I thank our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for always remembering our welfare. We truly feel his concern for our faith. He truly wants us to benefit from our election,” said Efren Suarez from the Local Congregation of Area E, Cavite South.

The seminar that followed tackled radio operation, emergency response during calamities, and the usage of apps that utilize Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).

“I learned a lot during our gathering. It is only right that I remain zealous in performing my duties especially that during these days, extraordinary events occur,” said Pegen Fugen of the Local Congregation of Rosario, Cavite. “As a SCAN member, I will strive to be adept in radio communication as well as in up-to-date means, such as the internet; all for the Church’s benefit and God’s glory.” — With assistance from Reynaldo Libao III
