In commemoration of the 100th birth anniversary of Brother Eraño G. Manalo (1925-2009), the Ecclesiastical District of Micronesia organized a Care For Humanity event on January 12, 2025 that benefited the brethren there.
“All the 12 local congregations in the district, led by their respective local leaderships, offered a free medical mission to help our brethren keep on check their blood pressure and glucose levels. Essential items like rice, canned goods, noodles, coffee, and more, were also provided,” attested Brother Roger Villegas Jr., the district multimedia adviser.
“Today’s event has been a great help in assessing my health and easing the challenges in meeting my daily needs,” expressed Felix Baligyan, a deacon in Koblerville Congregation. “I am deeply grateful to our Lord God and to the Church Administration for their unwavering care, not only for my spiritual well-being but also for addressing my basic needs,” he added.
Jhomar Espinueva, a recipient in Guam Congregation, said, “I truly feel the love and concern of the Church Administration for us members of the Church Of Christ. Despite the economic challenges the world is facing, the Church Administration continues strengthening our faith and supporting our needs. I’m very proud to be a member of the Church.”
Brother Joven Sepillo, the district supervising minister, and Brother Julius Malabanan, the assistant district supervising minister, oversaw the events that were held at the house of worship compound of the local congregations of Guam and Koblerville, MP, respectively. Meanwhile, those of other congregations were overseen by their respective resident ministers and ministerial workers.
Brother Sepillo said that through the activity “the brethren are further encouraged and inspired to trust in God and rely on Him at all times, for them to remain steadfast in doing what is pleasing to Him.”
