“I thank our Lord God for calling me in the Church. I’m very happy that I’m now a full-fledged member. I now have the hope of receiving salvation on Christ’s Second Advent,” enthused Rommel Nata, newly baptized member from Fuengirola, Spain Congregation.

Even in the Ecclesiastical District of Spain, the membership of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) continues to grow. Recently, more prospective members received baptism on May 26, 2024.

Brother Froilan Enriquez Jr., district supervising minister, officiated the baptismal gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Barcelona, which served as the host site. It was streamed live to the house of worship of Madrid Congregation, where other candidates for baptism were gathered.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Enriquez pointed out to the would-be members the importance of remaining faithful servants of God until the end to ensure their respective salvation on Christ’s return.

After the homily, Brother Oliver Campo, district Light Of Salvation (LOS) overseer, led the prospective members’ taking oath of membership. Afterwards, the baptism was conducted.

Among those who were baptized was Joaquin Ibañez from Barcelona Congregation. “The teachings of God taught in the Church Of Christ inspire me the most, being truly based on the Bible, which led me to join the Church. I truly felt that sense of peace and tranquility whenever I attend the worship services; I feel God’s abiding presence,” he said.

“I would like to thank our brethren in Mallorca Congregation, the ones instrumental until I found the true religion, the Church Of Christ,” said Sheena Mae Serafica, another newly baptized member. “I vow to dedicate myself in serving God until the end so I can receive God’s promise of salvation,” she added. — With reports from Noemi Jimenez of INC News Section
