The Ecclesiastical District of Calamian, Philippines, hosted a special gathering on January 26, 2025, during which the call of the Church Administration for qualified brethren to join the holy ministry was echoed. It was attended by male KADIWA and Binhi members, together with their parents.
The gathering was held at the house of worship of Guadalupe Congregation. Assistant district supervising minister Brother Gerson Canlas led the study of God’s words. In his homily, he emphasized the Church’s need for more ministers and ministerial workers. Through their instrumentality, many people will join the Church Of Christ, being God’s will, through which they will be saved come Judgment Day.
“The number of the members in the Church grows rapidly. That is why the Church is in need of more ministers to care for the spiritual welfare of the brethren,” said Brother Abraham Guian, minister of the gospel and instructor in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers. “On our part, we will help the Church Administration in encouraging more male brethren to also join the holy ministry,” he added.
“My heart has been filled with joy upon knowing that my son Noah has decided to join the holy ministry,” said Carlos Carpiano of the Local Congregation of Turda.
One of the attendees, Kevin Carl Daet of the Local Congregation of Salvacion, also decided to join the ministry. He said, “I firmly believe that it is God’s calling for me to join the holy ministry.” — With reports from Jed Ceder Dosdos
