The Local Congregation of Sta. Rosa in the Ecclesiastical District of Sta. Rosa City, Laguna recently celebrated its 95th anniversary of establishment. In commemoration, the Church Administration sent Brother Antonio T. de Guzman Jr. to officiate at the special worship service held on March 2, 2025 at the congregation’s house of worship.

After the opening prayer led by Brother Bryan Angelo Ibasco, a minister assigned at the Iglesia Ni Cristo School For Ministers (INC-SFM), Brother de Guzman delivered his homily. He emphasized to the attendees that as Church Of Christ members who await the day of their salvation, they must continue to abound in their faith.

“It’s truly a blessing for our local congregation to be visited by one of the primary helpers of the Executive Minister. I’m further strengthened in the faith,” said Daniel Eligue, 80, head deacon of Sta. Rosa Congregation for 43 years.

Before concluding his homily, Brother de Guzman encouraged the brethren to evermore place their complete hope and trust in what God can do for them, especially amid the extraordinary events that are happening in this world. The prayer after the homily was led by Brother Marc Leo Ibasco, assistant supervising minister of Sta. Rosa City, Laguna District.

“Through the guidance of the Church Administration, the brethren in the Sta. Rosa Congregation continue to be active in the works of propagation, in taking care of the house of worship, and edifying the faith of the brethren,” said Brother Darwin Joson, resident minister of Sta. Rosa Congregation. Speaking on behalf of the Church members, he conveyed, “We will not cease in doing what pleases God, especially our worship of Him.” — With reports from Minerva A. De Vera
