A week after the Local Congregation of Tanauan reached its 66th anniversary, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members there celebrated the said occasion through a musical program at Kita-a La Farm Dining Hall in Barangay Antipolo, Tanauan, Leyte, Philippines on February 7, 2025.
The activity began with a prayer led by district edification overseer Brother Remel Flores, followed by the reading of the congregation’s history by resident ministerial worker Brother Rex Pamatian. An audio-visual presentation highlighting the congregation’s past activities was then shown. Following this, talented brethren performed musical numbers featuring INC original music.
For the closing remarks, assistant district supervising minister Brother Alberto Tolentino expressed gratitude to the brethren for their support and unity with the Church Administration. He encouraged everyone to remain steadfast in the faith to attain salvation on Judgment Day. District Light Of Salvation overseer Brother George Maliwat led the closing prayer.
Brother Raul Ramirez Sr., supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte East, graced the event with his presence.
Teresito Asadon, a deacon for 25 years now, expressed, “I’m grateful to the Lord God for the blessings He has bestowed upon our congregation. I promise to continue doing what pleases Him and remain devoted in fulfilling my duties until the end.”
“Today’s event has been an inspiration to all the brethren in our congregation. It has helped us reflect on God’s unceasing guidance, not only in our congregation but throughout the entire Church,” said Rosalina Mosca, one of the event organizers.
Lucia Badana, a deaconess for 15 years now, shared, “I am deeply thankful to the Church Administration for always caring for my spiritual well-being. This activity has truly strengthened my faith and resolve as a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.”
