The Ecclesiastical Districts of Central, Quezon City, and CAMANAVA, all located in Metro Manila, Philippines, jointly held a baptism of new members at San Francisco Congregation house of worship on February 22, 2025.

During the said gathering, Quezon City district supervising minister Brother Virgilio A. Del Rosario Sr. taught a biblical lecture. He reiterated from the Bible that beyond the day of their baptism, Church members are expected by God to obey all of His will, such as the intensive renewal of life, at all times.

Then, the candidates for baptism took their oath of membership before being baptized.

“My interest in joining the Church grew stronger after hearing Brother Eduardo Manalo’s preaching of God’s words,” recalled newly baptized Argie Orquia from Templo Central Congregation. “I’m glad and it feels right to be a Church member as the beliefs of the Church Of Christ are clearly based from the Bible, unlike that of my former religion,” he further stated.

Also among those baptized was Arvin Pascua from the Local Congregation of Cubao. He narrated, “Going to work in Quezon City, I would often pass by Cubao Congregation’s house of worship. I got curious as to why many people wearing formal attire go there, even on Thursdays. Until one day, I decided to ask the chapel custodian about the Church. That led me to being invited to attend worship services, biblical studies, until I decided to join the Church.”

Right after their baptism, the newly added members went to attend the Welcome, Kapatid Ko activities that were held at their respective districts. Those of the Central District held theirs at 80 West Avenue; Quezon City District at Sunnyside Heights Covered Court; and CAMANAVA District at North Diversion Multipurpose Hall.
