On separate occasions, the Local Congregations of New Westminster, and Delta in British Columbia Ecclesiastical District held recreational activities for Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members under their care.
Assisted by their parents, the CWS members from New Westminster Congregation were taught how to make smoothies from fresh fruits on March 8, 2025. This was held as part of the congregation’s aim to encourage the youth to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
CWS chairperson Alhyn Adolfo observed how “the children attended with excitement and went home with smiles on their faces. Parents were also able to help and we really appreciate their efforts to guide them through this activity.”
Meanwhile, on March 22, the Delta Congregation organized a pot decorating and planting activity. Guided by CWS officers, the young members learned how to paint plant pots with various designs, even how to take care of potted plants.
“Activities like these all the more strengthen the bond between the CWS members and officers and encourage them to continue uniting in all of the activities supported by the Church Administration. It is also a great opportunity for children to showcase their skills and learn new ones,” said CWS chairperson Gabby Sese. — With reports from Geoffrey de Leon and Mia Mendoza of INC News Section
