In the recently established ecclesiastical district of Western Australia, doctrinal instructees or those who are undergoing instruction in Bible doctrines upheld by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) and candidates for baptism attended special gatherings dedicated at edifying them in the faith, on January 31, 2025.
The said gatherings were held at two venues, the house of worship of Perth Congregation and Grey Community Hall, and were officiated by district supervising minister Brother Nolly Esperanza, and assistant district supervising minister Brother Felix Santos, respectively.
Through the preaching of God’s words, the attendees received motivation from the Bible to continue upholding the true faith for them to remain in the true worship and service to the Lord God. This includes being determined in obeying His commandments despite life’s challenges and hindrances.
“At first, I continue learning about the Church Of Christ out of curiosity. As I also continue to listen to its biblical teachings, I found myself eager to learn more. Over time, I felt striving to gain the true faith,” said Lucas Huynh, candidate for baptism from Ellenbrook Congregation. “The brethren and my friends in the Church have been incredibly supportive, which has made my transition from Buddhism to Christianity much more meaningful and encouraging,” he added.
Brethren throughout the district, especially those instrumental in ushering the Bible students into the true faith, also attended the gathering.
“I participate in the intensive work of propagating God’s words because of His command to love my neighbors as I love myself,” said Ellenbrook Congregation choir member Eben Jr Gonzales. He is the one who introduced Lucas Huynh to the Church. “I’m thankful and blessed that he’s now on the path to join the true Church Of Christ and receive the right to worship God,” he added.
The brethren’s unwavering efforts in sharing their faith brought about the increased membership in the country, which led to the then Ecclesiastical District of Australia West branching into two districts, namely, Western Australia and Victoria, Australia, on January 2, 2025. — With reports from INC News Section
