Doing their part in the INC Giving project of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), Binhi members in the Ecclesiastical District of Don Carlos, Bukidnon, Philippines, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to firefighters assigned at the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) station in Don Carlos on May 31, 2024.

Brother Romel Silva, district supervising minister, and Brother Samuel Betoya, assistant district supervising minister, led the short program wherein the brethren acknowledged the firefighters’ perseverance and dedication to their duty. Also included in the program was the distribution of gift packs prepared by the brethren.

Brother Fernando Eque Jr., district Light of Salvation overseer, stated that the members of the Binhi organization are “joyful upon knowing that they were being able to bring smiles to the fire officers even for a short time.”

Fire Officer 3, Melbourne Tusoy, expressed his thankfulness to the Church Administration and the brethren in the district for the appreciation rendered to him and his colleagues. “In my many years of service, it is only now that I have met people who put on a great effort to recognize the sacrifices of firefighters like me.” — With reports from Mayline Mantagias of INC News Section
