The concerted propagational efforts of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Local Congregation of Vitali, Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga City, Philippines, have led to the establishment of the new Tarlago Group Worship Service (GWS), which the district leadership inaugurated on August 22, 2024.
Brother Nelcar Loberiano, the district supervising minister, officiated at the inaugural worship service that was held at the GWS’s place of worship, which is approximately seven kilometers away from the Vitali Congregation’s house of worship.
During the Bible-based sermon, Brother Loberiano reminded the brethren to be thankful to God for the blessings He has bestowed upon them, one of which is having a place of worship closer to them.
Brethren in Tarlago GWS have been entrusted to the supervision of the Vitali Congregation. Brother Virgilio De Luna Jr., resident ministerial worker in Vitali, expressed on behalf of the GWS, “We are grateful to the Lord God and to the Church Administration for allowing us to have a GWS here in Tarlago. After the inaugural worship service, this place will be used for more upcoming activities in the Church, which are all for God’s glory.”
The district supervising minister also iterated to the attendees the importance of accepting, believing, and learning from God’s Messenger in these last days. Doing so is proven by faithfully obeying all of God’s commandments, which will count them worthy of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.
“God is truly faithful to His promises in His Church,” enthused Helen Librando, a deaconess and finance officer. “I deeply extend my heartfelt gratitude to God for commissioning Brother Felix Manalo. Through his tireless efforts and that of the Church Administration, the Church continues thriving such as here.” — With reports from Julieto Bangiao
